Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Ali Alizada had a meeting with the Minister of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Amir Mehmood Kiyani.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the healthcare reforms in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the achievements, country's potential for health tourism, the efficient environment created for Pakistani students studying in the field of medicine in Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev Foundation's charity projects in healthcare sector in Pakistan and also opportunities for cooperation, expressed their satisfaction for the constant mutual support.
Minister of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Amir Mehmood Kiyani said that Pakistan is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of health. He also emphasized that establishing a legal base for cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, training of Pakistani medical workers in Azerbaijan, promoting medicines, surgical instruments and equipment produced by Pakistan for hospitals in Azerbaijan, as well as participation in various conferences, seminars, enhancement of health tourism and cooperation in many other areas can be considered.
